Kassai Equestrian Archery School - Kaposmérő, Rákóczi Rd. 122.
The Kassai Valley is notable for the fact that it was here, at the end of the 20th century, that Lajos Kassai established modern-era equestrianism. This unique Hungarian martial art and sport started its conquest of the world from here, and has already gained international fame. Since 1988, the valley has been open to visitors on the first Saturday of every month. Visitors have the opportunity to gain an insight into the work that goes on in the valley. The open day is a real family event, but not a show. Its primary aim is to inform and inspire. The question it has been searching for answers to for thirty years is how we can live a full life in keeping with our times while preserving as much as possible of our ancient culture.

Rippl-Rónai Museum - Kaposvár, Rómahegyi St. 88.
The villa was bought in 1908 by József Rippl-Rónai, a famous Kaposvár native and world-famous painter, who lived and worked here until his death in 1927. Since 1978, it has been a memorial museum, with furnishings and works from the painter's life. In the villa you can see the reconstruction of the Andrássy dining room, which is representative of Rippl-Rónai's work as an artist. The stunning Andrássy Dining Room deservedly won the title of Exhibition of the Year 2013.

Csiky Gergely Theater - Kaposvár, Rákóczi square
The Csiky Gergely Theatre is still one of the country's leading theatres. It was once the most modern theatre in the country, and with its 1,400-seat auditorium it is also one of the largest. It has had a permanent company since 1955. The theatre is surrounded by a pleasant park, where visitors can admire a variety of works of art - sculptures, ornamental fountains - under the foliage of woody shrubs of the age of Methuselah.

Deseda Arboretum and Canopy Nature Trail - Magyaregres
The park forest and the arboretum are considered the ‘green lungs’ of Kaposvár, where 73 species of deciduous trees and shrubs and 38 species of pines currently live. The natural unity of the forest with the water surface is an attractive place to spend leisure time and to relax in nature. The colourful flocks of waterfowl in the lake and the surrounding reeds are a delight for nature lovers and hikers.
From the Canopy Nature Trail, you can observe the lake's wildlife and the forest levels in all seasons. In the park forest, SEFAG Zrt. has set up car parks, hiking trails, playgrounds and a forest educational trail. Guided tours by a forester or hunting expert are available on request.
